
Tim Davidson is a lifelong resident of the Virginia Peninsula, a devoted husband, father of two, and proud grandfather of seven. With over 30 years of experience as a Bible teacher and ministry leader, Tim has dedicated his life to serving others through faith and community outreach.
For more than 18 years, he has served as a Board Member and Executive Director of Operation Breaking Through, Inc., a nonprofit organization committed to meeting the needs of Hampton Roads residents experiencing homelessness, life transitions, or at-risk circumstances.
In addition to his ministry work, Tim brings over 20 years of expertise in Operational and Enterprise Risk Management within the banking and financial services sector. His professional background spans mortgage servicing, credit card services, information systems, and commercial and consumer banking. Tim has led initiatives in risk control, compliance auditing, regulatory adherence, and operational efficiency through the development of policies and procedures.
An expert in process engineering and redesign, Tim has more than 15 years of experience optimizing IT platforms, cost management, and risk assessment. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) for 17 years and holds Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Black Belt certifications, with additional expertise in strategic business planning, client program management, and supplier contract negotiations.
Tim’s passion for education is evident in his role as an Adjunct Professor at Christopher Newport University’s Luter School of Business. He previously taught Operational Excellence and Risk Management at the College of William & Mary’s Center for Corporate Education and served as a Staff Instructor at Capital One University, leading courses in Business Process Management, Six Sigma, Change Management, and Career Development.
Tim holds an MBA from the College of William & Mary and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He is also CISA-trained, further cementing his expertise in information systems and risk assessment.
