Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas (VOACC) is excited to announce the opening of our newest service location at 1546 Featherstone Rd in Woodbridge, VA to support adults living with an intellectual/developmental disability. A partnership with the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) and the Prince William County’s Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) to provide the care and support residents need to live in a community residence rather than institutionalized settings.

Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas will launch its annual Operation Backpack® back-to-school campaign on July 1, 2024 in partnership with WJLA ABC7 News DC, FOX45 WBFF, Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area, Royal Court Zeta chapter of the Mu Beta Phi Military Fraternity, and the Prince George’s County Office of the Sheriff.
